1. Introduction

ForexPulse ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our iOS and watchOS applications.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

  • Apple ID identifier: Used for account creation and authentication via Sign in with Apple
  • Watchlist preferences: The currency pairs you add to your watchlist
  • Alert configurations: Price and indicator alert settings you create
  • Device information: Device model and OS version for compatibility and support
  • Push notification tokens: APNs tokens for delivering alerts to your devices

We do NOT collect financial data, trading history, brokerage credentials, or location data.

3. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used to:

  • Deliver price alerts and notifications to your devices
  • Sync your watchlist and preferences across iPhone and Apple Watch
  • Manage your subscription status
  • Provide customer support
  • Improve the App's performance and features

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL) with Row-Level Security (RLS) policies ensuring you can only access your own data. All data is transmitted over TLS 1.3 encrypted connections. Push notification tokens are stored securely and used solely for delivering alerts.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Apple: Sign in with Apple, App Store subscriptions, APNs
  • Polygon.io (Massive API): Market data provider for forex, metals, and crypto prices
  • Supabase: Database and authentication infrastructure
  • RevenueCat: Subscription management and receipt validation

Each third-party service has its own privacy policy governing their data practices.

6. Data Sharing

We do NOT sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.

We may share data only when required by law or to protect our rights and the safety of our users.

7. Data Retention

Your account data is retained until you request deletion. Alert history is automatically deleted after 3 days. Push notification tokens are removed when you uninstall the App or revoke push permissions.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access: Request a copy of your personal data
  • Correct: Update inaccurate information
  • Delete: Request deletion of your account and associated data
  • Export: Receive your data in a portable format

9. Children's Privacy

ForexPulse is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
